SEAPerch is an underwater robotics program sponsored by the Office of Naval Research and SNAME (the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers). Additional organizations and corporations are supporting the initiative in PWCS. The program was developed by the MIT Sea Grant College Program. The program is designed to teach students how to build underwater robots.

Piccione and Drake from Prince William County traveled to MIT to design a curriculum for underwater robotics in PWCS. All the high schools in Prince William County are taking part in the SEAPerch program.
